Presentation details:

Dr. Audra Platero, NISN Primary Curriculum Development Specialist and Diné Language educator will present on different strategies on assessment that you can utilize to practice and improve your student's learning outcome. Carmelita Lee, Cultural Educator will present on evaluation as a Diné language teacher from Navajo Nation-OSCAD office, and school's performance evaluation. This presentation will also help with preparing for the Navajo Nation- Diné Language and Culture renewal of the 520 certificate process as administered by the Navajo Nation-OSCAD office, if applicable to you.

For who?
  • Individuals interested to become a Diné Language Teacher
  • Current non-520 certified Diné Language Teachers are highly encouraged.
  • Community members are welcome.

Where? This presentation will be over Zoom.

  • This presentation may be all in Diné k'ehjí (Navajo).
