WA Mental Health Week 2026 - Community Grant Program

The WA Association for Mental Health (WAAMH) is proud to once again be offering our WA Mental Health Week Community Grants Program in 2026.


Grants for Education are available to any Western Australians working or volunteering with not-for-profit organisations, whose work relates to mental health.

Successful grant recipients will receive 1x free registration for one of the following training courses delivered by WAAMH:
  • Mental Health in the Workplace - Tuesday 6 October.
  • Navigating Professional Boundaries - Tuesday 21 October.
  • Being Trauma Responsive - Thursday 29 October.
  • De-escalation Skills Youth - Friday 30 October.
These courses are delivered face-to-face in a central Perth CBD location, between 9.00am and 4.30pm. To learn more about the course content, please view the training catalogue.


Please note the following terms and conditions for this grant:
  • Applicants must reside in WA and work or volunteer for a not-for-profit organisation whose work relates to mental health.
  • WAAMH will do its utmost to respect applicants' course preferences, but due to demand, first preferences cannot be guaranteed.
  • Applicants must make all reasonable efforts to ensure they are available to attend the training course at the dates, times and location listed above.
  • If grant recipients can no longer attend their allocated course, they will forfeit their training registration. No transfers or exchanges are possible.
  • Successful grant recipients will receive confirmation of their training registration by email.
  • No more than six (6) attendees from a single employer can attend the same training course.
  • All successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email.
