PAG Dial-a-Ride and Microtransit Study - Would You Rather... |
The Pima Association of Governments (PAG) is conducting a microtransit and dial-a-ride study to identify transit service preferences within the greater Tucson region. PAG wants to understand your behaviors and preferences for enhancing the existing transit services.
Microtransit is a type of service model serving areas that do not have any existing transit service or have difficult access to regular bus service. Similar to private, on-demand services (such as Uber or Lyft), microtransit users can reserve and pay for trips online or by phone and receive same-day service, usually within a 10- to 30-minute window. Riders are typically picked up at their preferred location and taken to their preferred destination (curb-to-curb service). Microtransit trips are shared with other riders that have destinations in the same service area.
PAG will use your input to develop recommendations for future transit needs. For more information, visit the project website: https://pagregion.com/microtransit/
