How do you see Yarmouth’s future?

The Yarmouth Planning Board is undertaking a town-wide Visioning Project to create a community Vision Statement to discover, deliberate and define what we want Yarmouth to be. This, in turn, will help our Town leaders make important decisions on overall Town goals, prioritize programs and services, and recommend to us where to invest staff and financial resources to best meet the needs of our community. The Town will also use the Vision Statement to guide the update to our Local Comprehensive Plan (LCP), which is our long-term master plan with implementation strategies to meet our future vision of Yarmouth.

To make this happen, we need the whole community to get involved and let us know what you think.  The Planning Board has devised a modified COVID-19 Visioning Process for this fall that includes three (3) Virtual Community Workshops, and this initial Survey which will run through January 15, 2021.  The results of both the Survey and Workshops will be used to identify primary issues or categories to begin creating the Vision Statement for our community, which will be further vetted through a second Survey and series of Workshops in the spring.

Thank you for your time in completing this Survey.  Your feedback is critical to making this Visioning project a success.
