Support for Lithuanian as a heritage language

We would like to employ Lithuanian teachers (part-time) to deliver the new short course in Lithuanian as a heritage language which is available here. We would like to employ teachers who are qualified in teaching the Lithuanian language but we would also be interested in applications from teachers who have a qualification in another language or another post-primary curriculum subject, or teachers who are qualified in primary school teaching.

If you are interested please complete the following application by Monday 14th May. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact Karen by email at karen.ruddock@languagesinitiative.ie

We  are currently looking for schools to pilot the course in areas where there are significant numbers of students who come from Lithuanian families. According to our research, most students from Lithuanian speaking families are based in Dublin, then Monaghan, Meath and Longford. If you are aware of other areas where there are significant numbers please let us know.
