Lake Mayer Park Community Survey

Chatham County Parks & Recreation desires to engage the community for the successful completion of a new site-specific master plan for Lake Mayer Park. Lake Mayer is a 75-acre multi-purpose active and passive park located on East Montgomery Crossroads between Sallie Mood Drive and Truman Parkway. The park has a community center, picnic pavilions, restrooms, playground, and facilities for baseball, basketball, fishing, handball, jogging, pickleball, tennis, and skating. This survey will evaluate current recreational uses related to existing spaces and identify programs, amenities, and facilities desired by the community to optimize and enhance the park to meet current and future community needs. Your input matters and will make a difference for the future of Lake Mayer Park! Please complete this survey by May 1, 2026.
