Survey on current practice regarding the use of laboratory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in ART centres

This survey has been developed by a working group of experts representing Alpha Scientists in Reproductive Medicine (ALPHA) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and aims to provide an overview of current practice in ART centres regarding the use and monitoring of laboratory key performance indicators (KPIs), and their alignment with the ALPHA consensus (2012) and the ESHRE Vienna consensus (2017) recommendations.
The findings will support updating the two consensus documents to ensure that the guidance reflects current practice, evolving technologies, and real-world challenges in ART centres.
We invite all centres to participate, regardless of whether they currently apply the 2012/2017 consensus recommendations. The questionnaire should be completed once per centre, ideally by a senior laboratory member familiar with laboratory practices.
The survey takes approximately 20-25 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous and will be analysed in aggregate.
