2023 Property Tax Breakdown - Where Do Your Taxes Go?
Loyalist Township collects property taxes in order to provide local services such as road repair, snow removal, fire services, recreational facilities and more. This only represents 54% of the property taxes you pay. Loyalist Township also collects property taxes on behalf of the County of Lennox and Addington and the Province of Ontario (Education).
In 2023, the breakdown is as follows: - Loyalist Township (lower tier) 54% - Education (provincial government) 10%
