2026 AUSTRALIAN LANDFILL & TRANSFER STATIONS
CONFERENCE SUBMISSION

The Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) is pleased to be hosting the 2026 Australian Landfill & Transfer Stations Conference in Brisbane on the 21-23 October.

WMRR is now calling for abstracts for this conference under the categories listed in question 3. Other topics will be considered at the discretion of the committee.

Please note:
  • Your abstract should be text only, with limited or no references.
  • Multiple abstract submissions are permitted, please submit separate forms for each abstract.
  • If selected, some of the details provided in your submission will be published so please check your entry carefully before submitting.
  • All abstracts will be presented to the program committee for review and selection. Successful applicants will be notified in writing late May.

  • Speakers will receive a discounted registration fee, limited to a maximum of two (2) registrations per presentation.  
  • Failure to register and/or provide your presentation by the due date may result in the abstract being withdrawn from the conference program.
  • By submitting an abstract you confirm the content is your own original work, and grant the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) permission to publish your submission and final presentation. 
  • Speakers are responsible for their own expenses including, but not limited to, travel, accommodation, and incidental expenses.
