To provide great park and recreation opportunities for the Newberg and Dundee communities, Chehalem Park and Recreation District needs to understand the people it serves. By responding to this survey, you will help us understand:
  • What our residents value about local park and recreation opportunities;
  • What park facilities and recreation programs people are using today;
  • Where CPRD should invest additional resources into parks, facilities, and programs that we already have; and
  • What CPRD should do to make park and recreation opportunities better for everyone in the future.
WHO IS CHEHALEM PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT?
Chehalem Park and Recreation District - often called CPRD - works to make life extra special in Newberg and Dundee everyday. We are a special district, a form of local government that is separate from cities and counties, that provides park and recreation services for residents and visitors within our district boundaries. CPRD's district includes more than 34,000 residents who live in and around the Newberg and Dundee areas.

CPRD provides 25 developed neighborhood and community parks, which include sports complexes, playgrounds, golf course, aquatic & fitness center, disc golf courses, skateparks, BMX track, dog park, community center, senior center, and the Chehalem Cultural Center. CPRD also offers numerous events and recreational activities for all ages in sports, fitness, aquatics, crafts, early education, camp programs, music, and much, much more.
