Thank you for agreeing to complete this survey for Pacific Allied (Women’s) Council Inspires Faith Ideals Concerning All Incorporated (PACIFICA INC). By February 2023, PACIFICA aims to publish a report about our Pasifika women and girls in Aotearoa, New Zealand. We are particularly interested in documenting how our Pasifika women and girls, despite our national statistics, are able to thrive in Aotearoa.
Your survey responses will help to provide the voices we seek.
It should take you about 10mins to complete the survey. Or the time it takes to enjoy a cuppa.
You could win one of five $50 Pak'n'Save vouchers. If you'd like to be in to win, please complete the survey by 21 November 2022.
Please be assured that your response is confidential to the working group members: Tuiloma Lina Samu, Natalia Fareti, Natia Tucker, Fuatino Ma'anaima Soa-Lafoa'i, Leitu Tufuga and PACIFICA Inc National President Rev Alofa Lale. For the purposes of the PACIFICA Inc report and communications, all responses will be anonymised.
In 2021 P.A.C.I.F.I.C.A. Inc was granted ECOSOC status by the United Nations to have a speaking voice at its Economic and Social Council. Our organisation is the first Pacific peoples’ organisation from Aotearoa to be awarded this honour. This is very important because for many years non-Pacific peoples and non-Pacific women have been speaking for us without much consultation with us. Now we can articulate our own perspectives on issues that are significant to us with our own voices.
This survey was authorised by PACIFICA Inc on 11 October 2022. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
