Needs Analysis Survey for a Proposed New Bar Course: Legal Practitioners |
1. Introduction
Dear Respondents,
This survey is part of a national study evaluating whether the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) should be replaced with a new Bar course aimed at better preparing graduates for the first two (2) years of competent legal practice. We seek your views on the current CLP, the need for its reform, and your recommendations on the competencies, delivery approaches, and assessment methods that would best prepare young lawyers for their early years of legal practice or work in the corporate sector.
Your participation and responses are confidential, and findings will be reported in aggregate to maintain anonymity.
By continuing, you consent to the use of anonymised findings for policy development by the Legal Profession Qualifying Board (LPQB).
The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Please answer based on your role and direct experience.
Thank you for your valuable contribution.
Yours sincerely,
