The “night-time economy” simply refers to all the businesses, activities, and services that operate during the evening and night, usually from around 6pm to early morning. This includes things like restaurants, bars, nightclubs, live music venues, cinemas, late-night shops, transport services, and even night-shift workers who keep essential services running. It’s important because it creates jobs, attracts visitors, and keeps cities lively and safe after dark, rather than everything shutting down early.

Warrnambool has a vibrant nighttime economy, and we want your help to make it even better. The results of this survey will help us better understand what residents, visitors, and businesses would like to see in the community, and how we at the WCC can support and contribute to bringing these ideas to life.
