Application Form

The Leduc Community Hospital Foundation is pleased to offer scholarships to students from the Leduc region who are pursuing post-secondary healthcare related studies. Two (2) scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded annually to eligible applicants.

Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship is open to Leduc region students who are enrolled in post-secondary healthcare related studies. Applicants must:
  • Be a graduate of a senior high school in the City of Leduc, Beaumont, New Sarepta, Calmar or Thorsby.
  • Be enrolled (have been accepted) in a full-time health care related program at an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution.
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must be in good academic standing.
Application Process
Applications must include:
  • The completed application form.
  • A one-page essay (500 words) that details why applicant is entering post-secondary healthcare related studies, including a statement of professional goals and any evidence of volunteerism in your community.
  • Copy of high school transcripts.
  • Official confirmation of registration in post-secondary health care studies.
  • A resume.
  • Two (2) reference letters which also include why a healthcare career would be a good fit for the applicant.
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
The deadline for applications is February 15.

The Scholarships and Awards Committee will review all applications. Applicants may be asked to interview with the committee and will be advised accordingly.
