Capel Shire Blackberry Control Program 2021/22- Expression of Interest (EOI)

The Leschenault Biosecurity Group (LBG) is seeking expressions of interest for participation in a Blackberry (Rubus spp) spray control program in the Shire of Capel along the Capel River and its tributaries.

This potential program would be for landholders in the Shire of Capel with Blackberry on their property. Through this program, the LBG would assist landholders over the 2021-22 blackberry control season, to help ‘break the back’ of blackberry infestations on their properties. This program would be implemented under supervision of the LBG utilising the services of an environmental weed control contractor.
