A Prayer for our IXth Bishop
Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose a bishop for the Diocese of Florida that we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Bishop Search Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Florida invites you to complete this assessment to help us capture the current state of our diocese and what the people of our diocese hope for in their next Bishop. Your responses will be anonymous. We ask you to prayerfully respond to the questions and seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance as you do. Thank you for your contribution to building the future of our diocesan family. Please continue to pray for the Search Committee and Diocesan Leadership.

All congregants and clergy within our Diocese are invited to complete the assessment.
Please do not discuss the questions with one another prior to completing the questionnaire, so that the responses you record are your own.
Please give your impression as it is now, even if you feel that your opinions are not well informed and could change by talking with others.
Use the “Don’t Know” response only in those rare cases where you have no impression at all.
At the end of the survey, you will be given a chance to respond to questions about which you wish to comment.
