12 Choirs Application Form 2026/27

12 Choirs supports mental health and wellbeing by partnering community groups for people aged 50+ with primary schools across London to create 12 intergenerational choirs.

Each choir will be supported by a musical director and assistant facilitator, and have three rehearsals before they perform their festive concert at The Old Vic.

Each concert at The Old Vic is free and open to friends, family and the local community.

17.If you were selected, all intergenerational choirs will have three rehearsals at a mutually convenient time and location between Mon 12 Oct–Fri 27 Nov

19.If you were selected, would you be able to host rehearsals at your venue?
(Once the choirs have been matched they will have three rehearsals. Are you able to accommodate these rehearsals? Hall space or similar would be most suitable)

20.If you were selected, would your group be able to travel to your partner organisation/school for rehearsals and to The Old Vic for the concert?
(Please note, you would need enough staff to support with these journies. We do our best to pair schools and groups locally, but this isn't always possible. We are able to offer financial travel assistance if needed)

21.We will be holding an in-person Meet and Greet Workshop for teachers/group leaders on Thu 01 Oct, 4.30–6.30pm.

22.I understand that if my primary school/community group is offered a place on 12 Choirs of Christmas a minimum of one class teacher/group leader must be at each rehearsal and remain in the rehearsal room at all times. They MUST be the same teacher/group leader for each rehearsal
