Museum Registration to Receive Information about Opportunities Available
The Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) is proud to support We Can Do This, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ campaign to increase COVID-19 vaccine confidence, specifically to share critical information with parents and caregivers related to vaccinations for children. Thank you for your interest in receiving more information about how your museum can get involved!
Through this new partnership, we are working with ACM member museums and other affiliated museums in the U.S. to share resources as well as support programs, events, and exhibits designed to engage the hardest-to-reach audiences, reach children and families as younger children become eligible for the vaccine, and build broader vaccine confidence. These can be preexisting planned programs, events, and exhibits, or newly planned ones that will take place between late March and June 30, 2022.
ACM is also creating a four-panel, family-friendly exhibit that will be available to for free to museums to download and print for display. The exhibit panels will be printable in a variety of sizes for display in different types of areas (entry areas, preexisting exhibit galleries, spaces where parents naturally gather and/or wait, etc.) to meet a variety of our members’ needs.
Please take a few minutes to share how your museum can get involved. The ACM team will get in touch with you shortly with more details about the opportunities available.
Please note: With support from HHS, limited funding is available to U.S. museums in specific targeted geographic areas with the highest rates of vaccine hesitancy, to defray exhibit and/or event costs. ACM will contact eligible museums directly with more information.
