Overview
The Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) Foundation values nursing education and practice and endeavors to support its members directly engaged in AI Technology. The Archer Review Grant for AI in Nursing Education is awarded to an OADN member, working full-time, with a focus on the use of AI technology in nursing education. OADN membership can be through an OADN program or as an individual member.
The areas of focus for the grant can include any of the following:
- Professional Development: Attendance at workshops, conferences, or certification programs related to AI in nursing education.
- Educational Advancement: Enrollment in a formal academic program or course to enhance expertise in AI in nursing education.
- Research & Scholarship: Support for a scholarly project or research focused on the use of AI in nursing education.
The Archer Review Grant for AI in Nursing Education will be awarded in the amount of $2,500. The recipient will be recognized at the 2026 OADN Convention, Empowering the ADN Educator: Flourishing with Strength and Sustainability, at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, in San Antonio, TX, November 12 - 14, 2026.
Requirements: The applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Currently employed as a full-time faculty member directly engaged in AI nursing education.
- Hold an active membership in OADN as an individual or through a program.
Instructions: To apply for the OADN Foundation Archer Review Grant for AI in Nursing Education individuals should submit the following materials by the published deadline:
- A letter, not to exceed 1000 words explaining your work in AI in nursing education as well as addressing how you will use the grant to meet the criteria explained above.
- A professional colleague’s letter of support attesting to your work in AI nursing education.
- Curriculum Vitae
The completed grant application must be submitted on or before the deadline of May 15, 2026.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Please submit your application on or before the deadline of May 15, 2026 8PM Eastern.
