About Landcare Week
Landcare Week is an annual campaign celebrated during the first week of August that acknowledges the Australians who are actively restoring, enhancing and protecting the natural environment in their community. It is also a high-profile opportunity to engage current and prospective supporters to promote the environmental, community and wellbeing benefits of getting involved in landcare.
The campaign will acknowledge individuals, groups and organisations across Australia involved in landcare activities. This includes people involved in conservation land management, sustainable agriculture, Cultural land management, women in landcare and the next-gen of landcare leaders. The campaign will also acknowledge the thousands of volunteers who take action to care for the environment in their local community throughout the year.
About the Landcare Week Survey
We are seeking input from landcareres about their participation in landcare, with questions that seek information about what motivates people to volunteer with landcare, and how does it make them feel. All landcare volunteers, community-led environmental group or landcare facilitators are welcome to complete the survey.
This survey is being jointly delivered with the National Landcare Network, the State and Territory Landcare Organisations and Landcare Australia. The data and insights will provide information that will help our work to support landcare. The survey will close on Thursday 10 July, 2025.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey, this should only take 10mins of your time.
