Thank you for your interest in the CEPI Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC).
The SAC is an independent body of external experts that provides scientific support, advice, and challenge to the CEPI Leadership and Board on a diversity of issues related to vaccine research and development and manufacturing, in order to support the effective implementation of CEPI’s strategic objectives.
The SAC customarily meets three times per year; twice in person and once virtually, although additional ad hoc meetings may also be called as required.
Initial membership is for three years, and can be renewed for a further three years following re-application.
We are looking to recruit 5-10 experts to join the committee and are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in AI, process development and manufacturing, and late-stage development.
Review of applications will begin immediately after closure of the application window and be conducted by the SAC Secretariat, R&D and PDM Leadership, Board representation and SAC Chairs.
This evaluation committee will then submit a slate of finalists to the CEPI Board for approval.
Candidates will be notified of the outcome of their application by the end of March.
