Kōkiri 2027: Expression of Commitment - Reo Rua Placement in 2027

Kia ora e te whānau,

One of the most significant steps in the past two years in our kura, has been the establishment of Kōkiri - our reo rua bilingual learning space. In 2025, this space was dedicated to 29 Year 4, 5&6 tamariki. This year, we have 28 Year 5&6 tamariki in Kōkiri. We would like to get a snapshot of the interest from across the kura, from New Entrant to Year 6 in 2027 for a place in this learning pathway for your child.
We are looking for EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST in either reo rua (bilingual) or reo rumaki (immersion) options for your child.

Does your child have to be in Years 5&6 next year?

No, this expression of interest form is not limited to Year 5&6 tamariki in 2027 and beyond.

If you have a younger child in our school, or a child beginning in 2027, and you'd like to express interest in this option for your child, please complete the survey.

If you have more than one child at our kura that you'd like us to consider, please complete this survey more than once.

We would like to get a sense of the commitment from our whānau to this learning kaupapa in 2027, so we can be as prepared as possible with adequate kaiako and classroom learning space for this learning to grow.

Ngā mihi! Thank you for your response.

We will be in touch with more information and next steps early in Term 4.
