Dear Coquille Tribal Members:
.
Jii-la and Dai! The Coquille Tribal Council has approved this survey to gather information to help update the Tribe’s vision statement and inform the tribal-wide strategic planning effort this spring. The team collecting the data, Kauffman and Associates, is made up of members from federally recognized tribes and an American Indian-owned consulting firm.

Your participation is voluntary but essential. The survey aims to gather your input to guide revisions to the Tribe's vision statement and set the direction for strategic planning. Your responses are anonymous and confidential, and the summarized data will be shared during community meetings this spring. You can choose not to answer any questions you’re not comfortable with, and your participation indicates your informed consent.

As a thank you and to show our appreciation for your input, completing the survey gives you a chance to enter a drawing for 10 chances for $500 each.

The survey contains general questions about age group, gender, zip code (to be later sorted into district), and your self-assessed familiarity with your Coquille Tribal culture/customs and language. These questions help us when reviewing preferences.

We recognize individual and generational differences in the terms used. We drafted the survey to be clear to the widest audience of Coquille (Ko-Kwel) members. Where possible, we tried to explain the statements.

The survey should take about 5 minutes to complete and after finishing, you will be provided with a link to exit the survey, as well as a new link to enter the drawing.

Gele and Haiyu Masi for sharing your hopes, dreams, wants, and needs to guide the Tribe to your 50th Restoration!
