Public Survey Purpose

Kingston Borough and Forty Fort Borough are currently working on a Trail Feasibility Study for an approximately 1.25 mile trail gap along the Luzerne County Levee Trail. The Feasibility Study will identify a potential alignment for the trail.

You are invited to be a part of the design process by telling us how you use the Levee Trail system for recreation; ideas you have for this alignment; and what you would like to see happen to make it better. Your thoughts about the project are vital to the planning process. We appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey. It should require only 10 minutes.

The survey will be available from May 26, 2017 until approximately September 1, 2017. Surveys are not identified by name and your responses will be anonymous. All responses will be compiled and analyzed and results will be published as part of the Feasibility Study.

This survey is being conducted by Kingston Borough, Forty Fort Borough and Simone Collins Landscape Architecture as the trail planning consultants to the municipalities. For more information, please contact  Paul Keating, Kingston Borough, at 570-288-4576 or Bonnie Arnone, Forty Fort Borough, at 570-287-8586.
