ASMST 2026 Awards Nomination Form

The ASMST Annual Awards honor excellence, innovation, and leadership across the diverse disciplines that define shockwave medicine. Each award reflects ASMST’s mission to recognize and elevate those shaping the specialty through research, education, clinical practice, and service.

You may nominate a colleague or submit a self-nomination. The nominee must be an ASMST member by the time of selection. All nominations must be submitted by January 15, 2026.

Each ASMST member may submit multiple nominations, but only one per award category.

Distinguished Academician Award – Honors established clinicians or researchers whose teaching, research, and clinical efforts have significantly shaped the specialty of shockwave medicine in the United States.

Distinguished Member Award – Recognizes an ASMST member who has made major contributions to the field through teaching, research, publications, and dedicated service to ASMST.

Young Investigator Award – Acknowledges outstanding research in shockwave medicine by early-career professionals within ten years of completing their terminal degree (including fellowship).

Education Award – Celebrates exceptional teaching and educational contributions that have advanced shockwave medicine in the U.S. or internationally.
