The ERS Congress will take place this year from Saturday 5 September to Wednesday 9 September in Barcelona, Spain.
The ELF Patient Organisation Networking Day 2026 will take place this year on Saturday 5th September at Congress, and is also available to view online for those who cannot attend in person.
The theme for the ERS Congress 2026 is "United for Better Breathing: Partnership Between Patients, Clinicians and Researchers." The theme for Patient Organisation Networking Day is "Dismantling the divide: patients and professionals as one team".
We are keen to hear from patient organisations about their experiences collaborating with healthcare professionals and strengthening these partnerships.

This year there are three ways that patient organisations can formally share their experiences at ERS Congress 2026:
- 10-minute presentation to be delivered in person in Barcelona. We will liaise with you to agree on the most suitable time and location for this.
- As a panellist at Patient Organisation Networking Day.
- Via a 1-3 minute video to be prepared in advance to be shown at Patient Organisation Networking Day.
