The City of Vaughan is undertaking the Block 27 Transit Hub Special Study to establish a planning framework for a new, vibrant transit-oriented community anchored by the future Kirby GO Station. The Study is looking at the preferred location and configuration of the transit hub and how surrounding homes, shops, streets, parks, trails and natural areas should be planned.
The goal is to create a compact, sustainable and complete community that integrates transit, housing, jobs, retail, parks and public spaces, while protecting space for the future GO Station and surrounding natural heritage features.

Purpose of the Survey
During the first phase of engagement, the City asked the community and stakeholders for feedback on the opportunities and challenges within the Study Area and on two Draft Scenarios. The City used that feedback, along with technical analysis and input from partner agencies, to develop a Preferred Scenario.
This survey is part of the second phase of engagement and asks for your feedback on the Preferred Scenario before it is finalized. We want to hear your thoughts on:

- Housing and neighbourhood character: the proposed approach to housing, building heights and how the area could grow over time.
- Retail and amenities: the types and locations of shops, services and other amenities.
- Parks and open spaces: the proposed parks, trails, public spaces and connections to natural areas.
- The Preferred Scenario overall: what you support, what concerns you and what else the City should consider.
This survey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and will be available until Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 11:59 p.m.
Your feedback will be reviewed alongside input from community members and stakeholders, technical studies and partner agencies. This information will help refine the Preferred Scenario and inform recommendations for future development in the Study Area. Survey results are one of several factors considered in the decision-making process.
