The Alcohol and Drug Foundation (ADF) is conducting a short online survey about two of its information services programs, the Drug Information Directory and Help & Support Services (DID and HSS). Previously these services were known as the Australian Drug Information Network (ADIN), and offer a unique Australian service that provides a central point of access to quality-assured, internet-based alcohol and other drug (AOD) information.

Following a recent redevelopment in June 2019, ADIN ceased to be a stand-alone platform, and was integrated into the ADF’s website, separated into two separate platforms and renamed as the Drug Information Directory and Help & Support Services.

The survey aims to understand people’s needs and preferences for accessing AOD information and to assess DID and HSS as tools to meeting people’s needs.

The survey will take approximately five minutes to complete. We invite anyone who is over 18 years old, and has or has not used DID and HSS, to complete this survey.

To thank participants for their time, each completed survey will be eligible for entry into a draw for one $80 Coles Groups and Myer voucher.*

The ADF adheres to all privacy policies. Participation in the survey is voluntary and you can discontinue at any time during the survey. The survey is confidential. A report on the survey’s findings will be produced for internal planning purposes and website development, and for the funders of this project (the Commonwealth Department of Health). Some findings may be presented at conferences and/or in short reports to relevant agencies, but no person will be individually identified.
