2.Introduction
Hey there!
Next Generation Arts wants to hear from you about what it’s like to get started and build a career in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)’s arts, culture, and organizing scene. We’re especially interested in the experiences of racialized and equity-deserving young people (ages 18–35) living or working in the GTA.
We want to know: What’s going well? What barriers are you facing? And what opportunities could make it easier for young people like you to get opportunities and grow your career in the arts?
This survey takes about 8–10 minutes to complete. Participation is completely voluntary, and your answers will remain confidential. This survey closes on January 31, 2026.
Your answers will feed into a bigger research project, including focus groups, an event, and a final report with recommendations to make arts careers and pathways more accessible and fair.
