On behalf of American Farmland Trust and our partners, we are grateful for your willingness to complete our Kansas Livestock Producer Needs Assessment survey. This research is part of our “Enhancing Grazing Management in Kansas for Underreached Producers and Landowners”, funded by the Natural Resources Conservation Service Grazing Land Conservation Initiative national program.
Your participation in this anonymous statewide survey is critical in evaluating the needs of Kansas livestock producers and landowners. Responses to this survey will help us identify barriers to grazing technical and financial assistance management across Kansas. The survey audience is Kansas livestock producers or owners of grazing lands as well as resource providers serving livestock producers in the state. If you do not fit this description but are interested in the survey, reach out to the contact information provided below.
The survey will take you about 12 minutes and includes questions about grazing technical and financial assistance, plus optional demographic questions. Some questions are required while others are optional. We do not ask for any identifying information to participate in this survey. However, you may choose to provide your contact information to enter a drawing to win a $250 cash gift card as a thank you for your participation! In this case, your contact information will not be connected to your survey responses.
Data will be securely stored in AFT’s system. We will be reporting aggregated, anonymous results of this survey with our partners to aid in our collective understanding of Kansas livestock producers’ and landowners’ needs. This survey is voluntary, and we do not anticipate any risks from participating in this survey.
For questions specific to this survey, please reach out to Ellen Yeatman at eyeatman@farmland.org. For questions related to our regional programming, please reach out to Kinzie Reiss at kreiss@farmland.org. We thank you in advance for taking the time to respond to this survey.
Thank You,
