The Jury: Participant Questionnaire |
Welcome to the survey
Thank you for your interest in our documentary series.
We are looking for people to be jurors on Series 2 of our court-based documentary The Jury, exploring the justice system in Australia.
The focus and purpose of the series is to look at how juries work and their role within our court and justice system, which in normal circumstances happens behind closed doors. We will stage a criminal trial with actors playing the lawyers, witnesses, judge etc but have a jury made up of everyday people.
We will follow the process and the experience of jurors in the style of a ‘fly on the wall’ documentary.
Series 1 ‘The Jury: Death on the Staircase’ is available to watch on SBS On Demand or for a quick look here is the trailer.
We are looking for everyday people of differing ages, genders and backgrounds for the brand-new trial we will be staging for series two.
Please read the criteria below and if you meet and agree with the requirements, please complete the questionnaire.
When answering the questions please answer Yes/No where indicated but also expand and explain your answer where possible.
Some questions are of a personal nature and answering is optional, however, responding helps us to understand more about you as an individual person for purposes of casting and importantly for our duty of care for the final group of participants.
