The Alliance Leadership Institute is designed to support individuals who are interested in growing their leadership skills to help elevate the profession and to build the next generation of leaders for the Alliance.

Who should apply?

CPD professionals who are ready to advance their leadership skills and prepare for greater influence within their organizations and the Alliance.

  • Must be an active Alliance member in good standing with dues paid for 2026
  • Been in the field a minimum of 5 years
  • Currently lead programs, departments, or organizations or aspire to advance into leadership roles or responsibilities.

Participants’ Expectations:

·This is a year-long program with monthly calls and additional opportunities for networking. Participants should ensure they have institutional support for the time required to attend this program.

·Participants will be expected to complete all homework and/or reading assignments between sessions.

·Participants will be expected to attend and fully participate in all monthly one-hour virtual sessions. If participants cannot attend, then they must watch the recording of the sessions and be prepared for the next session.

·There are no refunds.

·Participants will be expected to attend the 2026 and 2027 Alliance Annual Conferences in person sessions and a graduation ceremony. Participants will be expected to pay their own travel expenses to attend the conferences.

·Participants will be given a peer partner to help them build cross-sector relationships and community. Participants will be matched with their peer partner at the beginning of the program.
