McCall's 4th of July Celebration

Help Shape the Future of McCall's 4th of July

The City of McCall City Council is planning for the future of our community's 4th of July celebration. As McCall continues to grow, we want to better understand what residents, businesses, property owners, and visitors value most and how they would like the celebration to evolve.

Each year, the City invests in the 4th of July celebration, including approximately:

$30,000+ for the community fireworks display
$50,000+ for public safety, security, traffic management, emergency response, and cleanup

These costs come out of the general fund and help support the celebration while managing the health and safety impacts of one of McCall's busiest weekends. As the City plans for future celebrations, we are exploring a variety of options, including maintaining traditions, making changes to existing events, or considering new forms of entertainment.
