Application Information

The City Clerk's Office is seeking applications for its Inclusion Advisory Committee from individuals representing organizations or individuals that support persons facing barriers to participation in the community in the following sectors:
  • 2SLGBTQIA+
  • Mental Health
The deadline for submission of applications is Sunday, May 31, 2026

About the Committee

The Inclusion Advisory Committee provides information and advice to the Committee of the Whole on matters of inclusion and accessibility as they relate to City programs, policies, and services, as referred to it by committees of Council, or as initiated by the Committee. Additional information concerning Committee member roles, responsibilities, and length of term are set according to the Committee’s Terms of Reference. A minimum of 3 meetings are held annually during regular business hours (9:00am - 4:30pm).

Selection Information
In addition to eligibility requirements, the specific skills and experiences of an applicant will be important factors in Committee selection. While all residents who meet the Eligibility Requirements are encouraged to apply, those who have demonstrated experience with groups or initiatives that have goals consistent with the Committee, as outlined in its Terms of Reference, will be given preference.
