The Dan Kohn registration scholarship program for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2026 exists to support individuals with complimentary registration who are unable to attend without registration assistance.
Travel expenses are not covered under this registration scholarship and are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.
Applicants should be from traditionally underrepresented and/or marginalized groups in the technology and/or open source communities who are unable to attend without registration assistance. Including, but not limited to persons identifying as: LGBTQIA+, women, persons of color, and/or persons with disabilities.
Applicants should be active community members who are not being assisted or sponsored by a company or organization, have recently experienced job loss or a budget freeze, and are unable to attend for financial reasons.
Registration Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of need and impact. Scholarships are NOT transferable to another person, or any other event. Selection will be made by an assembled group of reviewers who will assess each applicant’s request. Application information will be kept confidential.
The event will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah.
It is recommended that registration scholarship applicants check with the event host country’s visa and application requirements prior to registration scholarship application submission.
Scholarship recipients will receive complimentary registration for an All-Access pass to attend KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2026 (including CNCF-hosted Co-located Events)
Please note that travel funding is NOT included.
