Community Survey Strategic Planning

The Maple Bluff Village Board is launching a strategic planning process to set our community’s direction—and your voice is essential. This plan will define the Village’s mission, vision, values, and priorities and guide decisions about budgets, daily operations, partnerships with other governments, and how we address community issues as they arise. You can learn more about the strategic planning process from the project web page.

Please take 10 to 15 minutes to complete this survey no later than December 10, 2025. Each adult in your household is encouraged to complete a survey. Your input matters. The decisions we make today will define what Maple Bluff becomes tomorrow—let’s shape that future together.
1.What one, two, or three words would you use to describe the Village of Maple Bluff today?
2.The Village’s “vision” is the aspirational future state the Village is striving to create. In 2003, the Village Board approved the following vision statement: “The Village of Maple Bluff will continue to maintain its identity as a small, attractive, pedestrian-friendly lakeside residential community. Over the next 20 years, the Village will enhance its character and sense of place, which is defined by its unique neighborhoods, geography, extensive greenspace and recreational opportunities, corridors, Village edges, and proximity to Madison.” To what extent do you think this vision still applies going forward?
