The National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) is updating its Accredited Electrical Examination Program, accepted in multiple states. This survey—developed with input from industry experts—focuses on the Journeyman Electrician classification.
Definition: A Journeyman Electrician (Journeyperson) is qualified to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
