2025 Business Person of the Year Nomination

Award Nomination Information

Each year, the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce selects one individual business person to be recognized as the Business Person of the Year at the Annual Membership Meeting and Awards Reception. This person is selected among the nominations received from the community. This form allows you to nominate someone or self nominate for the award. You may also contact the Chamber office 614.882.8917 or info@westervillechamber.com to nominate a person for Business Person of the Year and the Chamber will notify the person that he/she has been nominated for the award and invite them to complete the application.

Eligibility Requirements
  • The award is designed for the business person, not the specific business itself.
  • The award is open to any business person of any size business.
  • The award is open to both Chamber Members and non-members.
  • The nominee must work and/or do business in the greater Westerville area.

Information to include in your nomination
  • Examples of successful solutions to business challenges.
  • Examples of a reputation of personal integrity and fair business practices.
  • Demonstration of management or product innovation.
  • Demonstration of leadership in the business sector.
  • Demonstration of community/civic involvement could include significant contributions to the creation of new jobs, energy saving and environmental improvement.
  • Substantiated history as an established business, such as why the business was started and success in meeting objectives.

A committee representing various past Business Person of the Year Recipients and community leaders will review all nominations and select an individual who exemplifies outstanding business practices in the Westerville community.

Deadline
Deadline for receipt of nominations is Friday, October 24, 2025.

Notification
Applicants will be contacted in mid-December to announce the 2025 recipients. The Award will be presented at the Annual Meeting, Awards, and Innovation Showcase luncheon, Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
