The Business Excellence Awards Gala is the Mammoth Lakes business community's annual event honoring those businesses that have excelled in various categories. Our selection of award recipients follows the process detailed below.

Step 1
Nominations for the awards are submitted by community members. To encourage well thought out submissions, the nominating process is open March 15 and closes August 1. A short narrative will be required for all nominations. We want to see HOW that business or person has excelled.

Step 2
The Business Excellence Awards Selection Committee will narrow down the nominations to three per category. This group is made up of past winners, community leaders, a Chamber President from outside the area, and Mammoth Lakes Chamber staff.

Step 3
This is the most significant change from prior years. Each Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce member will be allotted one vote per category. Step 3 will not be a community vote, only members will be deciding the award recipients. The Chamber will send out the final voting email to the primary email address we have in our database for each member. Final voting will be available September 4 - October 2.

Criteria:
Please enter your nomination for each category and explain why you feel they should win this award. Only nominations with explanations will be considered.

Must be a current Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce member (click here to access membership directory)
Winners of the awards could not have won in that category in 2023 (click here to see past winners)
They could have been honorable mentions in past years
They could have won in a different category in past years
For awards for individuals, they cannot be in multiple categories; however, that does not disqualify the business that they represent.
