The Sonoma County Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) are collaboratively developing programs and policies to achieve groundwater sustainability by 2042. Through this survey, the GSAs would like to better understand the priorities and support needs of agricultural groundwater users. The GSAs value our agricultural community’s input and are interested in understanding agricultural groundwater users’ priorities, their experience and interest in different practices and programs that could improve groundwater sustainability, potential barriers to implementation, and how the GSAs could support producers in their long-term water needs.

This survey is intended to capture feedback from agricultural property owners, farmers, processors, and other groundwater users and entities that support agriculture. The survey results will be used to inform potential changes to existing policies and programs, and/or the development of new policies and programs that support sustainable groundwater management practices. The GSAs also intend to hold a workshop this winter to share any proposed program updates with the agricultural community and provide an opportunity to make sure we understand your needs and ideas.

Thank you for your interest in the Sonoma County GSAs and for your time spent providing your responses.
