Forage the city. Make wild art. Transform a gallery.

Help us transform an entire gallery.

This September, we're looking for 40 people of all ages to join artist and renowned ink-maker Jason Logan from the Toronto Ink Company for a hands-on exploration of Toronto's urban nature.

On September 5 and 6, participants will explore the neighbourhood around Gallery 1065, foraging for leaves, berries, bark, flowers and other urban botanicals.

Together, you'll learn how to transform what you find into a rich palette of handmade inks.

And the inks won't stop there.

Workshop participants will be invited back to Gallery 1065 the following week to use the colours they've created to help bring artist Pam Lostracco's monumental paint-by-numbers mural to life.

Together, we'll transform the gallery into an immersive celebration of the wild nature growing throughout Toronto.

The workshops are free and open to all ages. No artistic experience is required. Just curiosity.

Each workshop is limited to 20 participants.
