Part 1: Women Leading the Way™ Application

This information is collected to help us assess your suitability for the Women Leading the Way™ program, and to better understand our registrant demographics. Your personal information is treated as confidential by Minerva BC and is collected and managed in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. The ongoing process of truth and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people is an integral part of all of Minerva BC’s work. Opportunities for conversation about this process as well as the complex nature of the intersectionality of diversity is an integral part of Women Leading the Way™. All successful applicants to this program are asked to enter these conversations with an open heart and mind.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
As part of this application process you will be required to upload a current resume or brief biography. Please have these materials ready before you fill out this application form. If you have any questions or require assistance in completing this application, please contact admin@minervabc.ca.

SELECTION

After you submit your application you will be contacted by a Minerva BC representative. You will be invited to an optional information session to meet the facilitator. The purpose of this session is to confirm that the program is a good fit for you and answer any questions you have. 


ACCEPTANCE & PAYMENT

Payment will be requested upon acceptance into the program. Minerva accepts payment by MasterCard, Visa, American Express, cheque and Electronic Fund Transfer.

* 2. This program will be delivered fully online using a blended approach including some online content, facilitated group sessions delivered via Zoom, as well as peer learning meetings. Dates for the January 2023 session are posted on the website.

* 9. The tuition for this program is $3200. Minerva offers tuition support for the following circumstances. Please click the tuition support, if any, that you would like to apply for.

* 10. For Indigenous women who are fully self-funding, Minerva offers up to 50% tuition support to Indigenous women based on available funding. We offer this in honour of Filomena ‘Fil’ Nalewajek and Russ Cook – two former Minerva board members who had a significant impact on the organization.
