Plains Towing and Recovery
Plains Towing & Recovery shows up when people are having a very bad day—and works hard to make it better. Their family-owned team tackles everything from roadside rescues to massive wrecks in Wyoming blizzards, while investing in their employees, equipment and community. Basically, they’re who you want on speed dial.

T-Mobile
T-Mobile’s Gillette team does much more than sell phones. They connect families, patiently recover forgotten passwords and occasionally locate “missing” phones in refrigerators. With kindness, humor and a genuine commitment to helping people understand their technology, this team brings plenty of heart to the magenta magic.

WCC Restoration
WCC Restoration answers the call 24/7 when fire, water or mold turns someone’s day into a disaster. This family-owned Wyoming business employs 30 people and combines certified expertise with genuine care. They clean, restore and help families recover—because apparently not all heroes wear capes; some carry dehumidifiers.

Bear Lodge Electric grew from one man, a converted propane truck and a homeschool-room office into a team of 15—all while its husband-and-wife owners managed to keep liking each other. They’re known for integrity, creative problem-solving and returning phone calls. Some companies run on coffee; this one was built on Dr. Teal’s bubble baths.

The Ice Cream Café
The Ice Cream Café makes every batch right here in Gillette, but its sweetest ingredient is kindness. For 13 years, this team has created joy, comfort and connection—one homemade scoop and fresh waffle cone at a time. They’re in the people business; ice cream is simply the delicious delivery system.

JH Pierce Wealth Management, P.C.
JH Pierce Wealth Management gives rural families and businesses access to sophisticated, honest financial guidance—without requiring a big-city address. Recognized as one of America’s Top 100 Small Businesses, this team contains serious finance nerds, powerful software and a founder with more letters after his name than in it.

Strand’s Lawn Care, LLC
Strand’s Lawn Care began with a five-year-old mowing lawns—and an eight-year-old sending his mother back outside because her lines weren’t straight enough. Scooter’s Coffee knows your morning can depend on that first friendly face—and that first glorious dose of caffeine. Their team learns customers’ names, favorite drinks and even their pets, creating genuine connections at drive-thru speed. They don’t just serve coffee; they help Gillette start the day feeling valued.

Simpsons Printing
Simpsons Printing listens carefully, communicates clearly and finds solutions for every deadline and budget. From blueprints and banners to signs and forms, they help customers transform ideas into something tangible. When a project gets complicated, they don’t simply point out the problem—they make everyone look good on paper.

The UPS Store
The UPS Store ships packages, untangles Amazon returns and asks enough friendly questions to keep customers from funding a scammer’s yacht. Their team has helped protect an estimated $75,000 from fraud while treating mailbox holders and serial returners like friends. Apparently, being delightfully nosy is excellent customer service.

The Main Bagel, LLC
The Main Bagel pairs fresh-baked favorites with the kind of welcoming service that has made it a Gillette gathering place. Whether customers stop in for breakfast, lunch or their usual bagel fix, the team serves up friendly faces and a hometown atmosphere. They understand that great service is the everything on the bagel.

4.Who should win - Sherry McGrath Spirit of Gillette(Required.)

Brenda Kron
Brenda Kron knows what it means to need a helping hand—and now she extends hers wherever it’s needed. From Ride and Shine to the Soup Kitchen, Senior Center and Kiwanis, she champions smaller organizations doing mighty work. Brenda proves that “little” acts of kindness are rarely little to the person receiving them.

Darla Cotton
Darla Cotton serves on boards, co-chairs Campbell County’s America 250 celebration and keeps public services running behind the scenes—sometimes well beyond 5:00 p.m. When nobody volunteers to lead, Darla’s response is usually, “I’ll do it.” Campbell County may be celebrating 250 years, but she’s already completed roughly 250 committee tasks this week.

Derek Smith
Derek Smith turns “somebody should do that” into routes, volunteers, sponsors, safety plans and a fully functioning event. From Gillette Main Street to Girls on the Run, he brings people together and makes ambitious ideas happen. He may call himself the “Man on the Run,” but he never runs away from community work.

Megan Bailey
Megan Bailey is a business owner, volunteer, mother, enthusiastic shop-local champion and co-chair of Campbell County’s America 250 celebration. She handles the cookies, merchandise, paperwork and countless details nobody sees—while teaching her daughter what community service looks like. Apparently, her calendar gave up trying to contain her.

Stephanie Bryce
Stephanie Bryce connects people, promotes Gillette and has a charming inability to say no when someone asks for help. She serves throughout the community and created the Big Dreams and Small Business Scholarship to help a student become an entrepreneur. Stephanie doesn’t merely dream about Gillette’s future—she helps someone build it.
