The NBOME is happy to announce that we are now accepting applications and nominations for the following leadership positions:
- COMAT Examination Chair - Family Medicine
- COMAT Examination Chair - Foundational Biomedical Sciences
- COMAT Examination Chair - Osteopathic Principles & Practice
- Department Chair - Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Department Chair - Osteopathic Principles and Practice | Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine
Responsibilities for each position begin on January 1, 2027 for a three-year term (2027-2029) with the possibility for a one-time renewal for an additional three-years (2030-2032).

- An expert in their field of practice
- A highly experienced writer and reviewer
- A strong leader with a thorough understanding of policies and processes
- A respected member of the osteopathic professional community
- An excellent mentor, recruiter, and collaborator
- Board-certified (preferred, if applicable)
- Currently in active practice (preferred, if applicable)
