The Department of Social Services (DSS) and National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) have commissioned a project on thin markets in the NDIS. Thin markets occur when the services available do not meet the needs of participants, for example in rural or regional areas. It can also mean a lack availability of a particular service, or difficulty accessing a service for a certain group of people.

PDCN would like to get feedback from its members who are NDIS participants and have difficulty accessing services because they are in a ‘thin market’.
