City of Birmingham Community Needs Survey |
City of Birmingham Community Needs Assessment
The City of Birmingham receives annual federal funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s grant programs. This money is invested into housing development, housing rehabilitation, infrastructure repairs, and community services, among other investments. Every five years Birmingham must conduct a review of community and housing needs to determine how to best use these funds. The City is in the process of updating two HUD-required plans, an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI) and Consolidated Plan, and its Housing Plan, to better understand the housing market and guide future investments. The Plans will cover the program years of 2025–2029.
We invite you to assist the City in identifying community needs and priorities by taking this brief survey. We appreciate your time in taking this survey and thank you for your participation!
