Carlson Family Foundation Grant Application

The Carlson Family Foundation welcomes eligible organizations to apply for this special opportunity. As part of our Youth Participatory Grantmaking program, this application was designed by local young people and will be reviewed by them. They have identified the priorities that matter most to their community and will make funding recommendations of up to $20,000. Annual Operating Budget is $1M or below

Applicant has an active 501(c)(3) designation or is fiscally sponsored

Programming serves youth at or below the age of 24

Organization serves the Twin Cities 7-County Metro

Applicant is not a current grantee of the Carlson Family Foundation

Advancing equity in one or more of the following areas:

o K-12 Education (Literacy, mentorship, work readiness, etc.)

o Environmental Protection (Green spaces, river protection, etc.)

o Poverty Elimination (Stable housing, food security, economic opportunity, etc.)

o Mental Health (Crisis intervention, wellness supports, advocacy, screenings etc.)
