Rachel Krevans Scholarship Application

ABOUT
ChIPs established the Rachel Krevans scholarship in 2018 to honor the memory of Krevans, a renowned intellectual property litigator at Morrison & Foerster LLP, and to promote diversity in the practice of IP. The scholarship will be administered annually to one qualified female law student who meets the following requirements.

AWARD: $5,000

ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for the Rachel Krevans Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Identify as a woman
  • Be enrolled in a U.S. law school
  • Be entering their third or subsequent year of law school
  • Demonstrate interest in pursuing IP law
  • Demonstrate commitment to advancing and connecting women in technology, law and policy
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must provide the following:
  • Completed application questions
  • Most recent law school transcript
  • Resume
  • Statement describing your career goals and the role you have played in advancing and connecting women in technology, law and policy (250 words or less)
  • Statement demonstrating an interest in pursuing IP law (100 words or less)
