About This Survey
In collaboration with Stranraer Development Trust, South of Scotland Community Housing (SOSCH) is seeking your views on housing in Stranraer.
This Housing Need and Demand Assessment (HNDA) survey is designed for anyone currently living in Stranraer, or with a desire to move into the area - specifically the Town Centre.
The survey should be completed by one person per household only.
This survey is conducted by SOSCH. SOSCH is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) that provides support to community-led housing and regeneration across the South of Scotland area as an affordable housing enabler. We provide expert advice to community organisations at each stage of a housing project, from conception, through all project development and viability assessment phases, during the delivery and construction phase, and through to arrangements for post-occupancy.
Your answers will help us understand the housing need and demand in Stranraer. Additionally, the results of the survey will help us better understand the ongoing housing needs and challenges in Scottish communities.
We will use the results of this survey to develop a Housing Need and Demand Assessment Report covering Stranraer, with a particular focus on Town Centre Living.
The survey will take around 10 minutes. Participation is completely voluntary and you can stop the survey at any time.
You will find a 'please explain' prompt and text box available for many of the questions, should you require or wish to provide additional context to your answers. Please do not include personally identifying information in your responses.
All survey responses are anonymous and the SOSCH team will never publish or share individual data or any identifiable information. All information received through the survey will be for SOSCH internal purposes only and subject to our organisational GDPR policy.
If you have questions about the survey or community-led housing, please contact: Méabh Weldon, Community-led Housing Coordinator for SOSCH, meabh.weldon@sosch.org.
