IYC High School Band Application |

We are currently receiving applications for the IYC High School Band. This
band will be chosen from Church of God youth ministries all over North
America. This band will help lead worship at the International Youth
Convention in San Antonio, TX during the summer of 2022. If you are
interested in trying out on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, drums, bass, keys,
and/or voice, then keep reading!
First, are you the right person to try out? Check out the requirements below:
1. You must regularly attend a Church of God congregation.
2. You must be a student (8th – 12th grade) for the school year 2021-2022.
3. You’ve got to be excellent on your instrument, and able to learn parts to
specific songs.
4. Must have previous experience playing or singing in a worship band.
5. Most importantly, you need to have a deep faith in Christ that is obvious in
your lifestyle and the way you treat others.
6. Must submit 2 audition videos, detailed later in this application by DECEMBER 10, 2021
7. Must be available for a Spring/Summer 2022 rehearsal weekend in Michigan.
You will be responsible to ask your church and/or parents to help with the expense of this trip.
8. And, of course, you must register yourself with your youth group for IYC2022 in San Antonio. Travel and lodging for IYC is on your own (with your youth group), but your registration to the convention will be complimentary and a food allowance will be provided.
